Meander– to go from one topic to another without any clear direction.

That pretty much sums up my woodworking experience over the years. I’ve been making sawdust for a long time, as a hobby, and still consider myself a jack of all trades, wood related, master of none. My interest and attempts range from picture frames to small furniture and everything in between. I’ll see a project in a magazine or at a show and just have to try it. I’ve turned pens, bottle stoppers, small bowls, made boxes on the bandsaw, baskets on the scroll saw, a cigar humidor, made signs with a pantograph, carved a whimsical house and wood spirit……. If its out there, I want to try it! Unfortunately, this approach hasn’t allowed me to master any one specific woodworking talent, but the journey has been enjoyable and a heck of a lot of fun. Well, as you may have guessed, my latest project is to start a blog and share some of my shop time with others. I’m looking forward to showing some projects, past and future, receiving comments, good or bad, and connecting with others of like interests. I know this isn’t going to be a daily happening but hope to post as often as I can. Anyway, here goes…
